Happy New Year 2022!
See our weekly Calendar of Programs on Facebook or email us at info@gottabeme.org for the weekly schedule.
Our current policy regarding health and safety around masks/shields:
We are asking you to mask/shield at all in person programs and events.
We are requiring everyone to mask at all indoor activities.
If you would like to mask/shield and you are vaccinated we welcome you to do so at any time.
We will have masks available for anyone choosing to mask 😷 at our in person events and programs.
If we are using a space that requires masks we will all be masking/sheilding.
Everyone's health and safety is our #1 priority, no matter what.
ABOUT US
Gotta Be Me is a 501c(3) not-for-profit organization located in Omaha, NE created to promote the inclusion of adults with disabilities into our communities, creating a culture that is brimming with life, dignity, and growth - for all people.
We believe that anything is possible. Cliché? Maybe, but it's our motto. It's what gets us up every day and keeps us moving toward the belief that we can be a shining light in our community, making it a happier, healthier, and safer place. Gotta Be Me creates opportunities for people with all abilities to come together, to become who they want to be, without limits.
Making music, shopping at the farmer's markets, or cooking a delicious meal at your favorite restaurant; you will see us out in our community. We can't wait to see you while we're out-and-about learning to be self-sufficent, empowered, and socially savvy!
These encounters spur us to take action, to learn, to grow, and to be part of a community experience that changes us. These interactions provide us all the opportunity to meet new people, develop friendships, and maybe – just maybe, help some of us see that there is joy in the every day – for everyone.
